On the boundary streets, the eruv may cover one sidewalk, both sidewalks, or neither sidewalk and may change from point to point. Do not carry on boundary streets without detailed authoritative information.

You may or may not be able to cross between neighboring eruvim. For example, between the Hillcrest and Holliswood/Jamaica Estates eruvim you may cross only at the points indicated by an X on the maps. Crossover points that are along a street, such as the crossover from the Far Rockaway / Lawrence eruv to the Five Towns eruv, are denoted at both ends of that street with 's.

The Cedarhurst/Woodmere and Far Rockaway/Lawrence eruvim share a comon boundary along Meadow Lane (Rockaway Turnpike) between Murly Lane (near the LIRR tracks) and Causeway Road, shown by 's. Crossing may be made along Central Avenue or Broadway without complications.
